About

Photo background

It began when I was around 12. I started taking photos of anything and everything - food, scenery, people, products, and random objects. I’m not entirely sure why, but all I knew was that it gave me lots of joy and it helped me better remember those moments. I continued to take hundreds and thousands of photos over the years, each year, honing my skills and my eye for photography more and more.

Capturing precious moments while crafting images that are pleasing to the eye was, and is, what I love to do. That’s why I love documenting special times in people’s lives - from graduations to engagements to weddings and everything in between. Being able to capture and preserve these fleeting moments is something I’m so grateful that I can do for others.

Film background

As a kid, I remembered that the behind-the-scenes portion at the end of the film intrigued me just as much as the actual film itself. I loved to see how it was made. In college, I just so happened to stumble upon a short film being made on campus. It was also around that time that I began to realize how much more films could engage the viewer compared to photography. More senses could be captivated and more information could be better absorbed through film.

Since then, I’ve been on a journey to hone this craft as a cinematographer. I aim to tell the stories of the underrepresented. To share insight that brings forth empathy, care and love. To capture moments in a timeless and authentic way.
